146596 2003-05-22 13:49:00 NZ PCWorld mag gave us a wonderful macro a few years ago, which would allow us to print out a font list - with a bit of manipulation it made it possible to print our system's font list in acustomised format - I can't find it in the archives - can anyone enlighten me on its code, please? 146597 2003-05-22 22:32:00 Greg S,
I remember seeing that macro described again in a recent mag... now can't find the thing :-( However have a look at one (or more) of these which will do the trick Font Tools (www.webattack.com)

Cheers, Babe.

146598 2003-05-22 22:38:00 Try this,

Sub listfonts()
Dim listFont As Variant
For Each listFont In FontNames
With Selection
.Font.Name = "Arial"
.Font.Size = 12
.TypeText listFont
.TypeText Text:=Chr(11)
.Font.Name = listFont
.TypeText "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ"
.TypeText Text:=Chr(11)
.TypeText "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz"
.TypeText Text:=Chr(11)
.TypeText "1234567890!@#$%^&*()"
.TypeText Text:=Chr(11)
.InsertParagraphAfter
.MoveDown Unit:=wdParagraph, Count:=1, Extend:=wdMove
End With
Next listFont
End Sub

146599 2003-05-23 01:32:00 I use a free font manager called X fonter from users.pandora.be
I find this software excellent for managing my fonts. And did I say it was free.
