just a quick question.
Will a AGP 8x graphic card (GF FX) work in a AGP 4x motherboard?
cheers

147253 2003-05-26 11:03:00 strangly enough neither will an 8x card, seeing as none on the market so far can use that amount of bandwidth.

Guess thats marketing for ya.

147254 2003-05-26 18:18:00 lol. Well, I've been told 8x doesnt really make any diff. The ONLY thing you have to be careful of, is some AGP cards are 1.5, and some are 3.3 (I think). Most mobos have a warning LED, which light up. If you try and run the wrong voltage card in a AGP port, you'll fry it! And the motherboard. Spacemannz (808)
