147120 2003-05-24 10:43:00 OK pop along to www.echoecho.com and pick out your colors, don't worry about the 216 safe colors,

I liked that joke about shooting the deer from drys

then you can tell us you have the colors #33ffff (blue) with #ffff33 (orange)

Remember it goes #red-green-blue

147123 2003-05-24 12:09:00 Why don't you go to Resene's site and download their program so that you can take a photo and then try different colours from that. mikebartnz (21)

147127 2003-05-24 12:48:00 Please do-not-paint-it-orange! :D I don't care that orange complements sky blue.

Serious now :), I would tend to go for classical colours as you don't want to have to repaint the building when lime, mauve and yellow trimmings go out of fashion. Trouble is, you don't want to be an eye-sore to your neighbours, but you are a business and people need to be able to find the motel easily. I would ignore the roof colour since the building is two-storeys high no one is really going to see it. What about muted earthy-neutral colours?

For base colour (www.resene.co.nz 0+8GO20+Multi-Finish_Chart+-+-+-+84+Link_Water+Bitter+Rum_Swizzle)

For trimmings (www.resene.co.nz 0+8YO10+The_Range_2000+Multi-Finish_Chart+-+-+90+Tacha+Masala+Torea_Bay)

For accents (in very small amounts) (www.resene.co.nz 7B60+The_Range_2000+Multi-Finish_Chart+-+-+72+Mulled_Wine+Jaguar+Tuscany)

You can also look at more colours here at Colour Swatches Online (www.resene.co.nz)

Corner IDG banner and link blue (www.resene.co.nz +1B20+Multi-Finish_Chart+-+-+-+10+Red_Berry+Sail+Lily_White)
