| 147442 | 2003-05-25 11:12:00 | What is cipher strength? I am unable to view (user login) a website and the Webmaster of that particular site advised me that I require to set the Cipher Strength of my computer to 128-bit. Where can I make this setting? Cheers |

| 147443 | 2003-05-25 11:26:00 | In Internet Explorer: Help - About Internet Explorer. The cipher strength should be there. AFAIK its inherent to the version of IE you run. |

If you have IE 5.5 or later it should be showing 128 bit If it is showing as zero then check this MS info here (support.microsoft.com) If you browser version is earlier than IE 5.5 you will need to upgrade to at least 5.5 |

Win 95 will only run up to IE5.5 Some early Win 98 versions prefer 5.5 as well, as they don't always like IE6 Its not that one is better that the other, its a matter of what you are able to run. |
