| 147369 | 2003-05-25 07:55:00 | hi folks at the mo i have a p3 800 (133 mhz fsb) and 256 megs sd ram on a slot 1 m/board ( latest bios) that runs windows 2000 pro and has agp 2x. i have a 32 meg tnt2 m64 graphics card on it.. what im wondering is, will a new modern pci graphics card perform better than my current graphics card?..does the board's 2x agp limit my choices?.. whats your opinion!! cheers |

| 147370 | 2003-05-25 08:15:00 | Hi Term An agp Gf 2 card for eg will perform better than your pci tnt2 (it is pci isn't it? would be better anyway) you could probably pick one up for a reasonable price on www.trademe.co.nz try for one with ddr ram. Cheers Murray P |

| 147372 | 2003-05-25 08:44:00 | any geforce or raedon series card will be better than yout tnt2m64. it all comes to done to howmuch performance you want vers $$$ spent. the 2x agp will limit to performance so getting a top end geforce might be an exspencive choice for the speed you will get. the lower end geforce4 or radeon will still work nicly at a cheaper price. |
