147965 2003-05-27 10:44:00 i save webpages so i can read them offline but they dont work
i click on favourites..add page etc then tick save offline or something then i save and it doesnt work

i use winxp home with IE6

147966 2003-05-27 11:50:00 If you save it like you are doing, you have to click the history clock and find it that way. Most times you can go file>save as ,and change to Web Archive (*.mht), give it a name and save it. Pheonix (280)
147967 2003-05-27 14:08:00 I have sorta the same problem. On win98 the history folder doesn't even work. although the page etc is saved to tmp it still want me to connect if i'm offline to view a page i was just looking at online.

but YOU could try synchronising the webpage or just using file>save

i do the schynoising thingy...and i even went thru history to find it but it still wants me to connect....

i remember it has only worked once before but other times just dead

Under the General Tab in the Temporary Internet Files section, click Settings
Enlarge the amount of disk space to use...
I currently have mine set to 100MB and I can browse pages offline ok, and make favorites available offline
