| 147936 | 2003-05-27 08:38:00 | hi, i am wanting to upgrade from window 95 to 98. have the instalation disc (original) but when I start the process I get the "message SU0168" error. Anyway to overcome this? I did some google-ing and found some sites that looked like you can get around it without too much trouble, so a step by step instruction list would be great. thanks dave |

It is also possible to do a clean install from an upgrade disk as well, with a bit of a file fiddle, which you would have to find out using Google. I cant remember now what the trick is. It is always better to do a clean full install rather than an upgrade. |
