Although this is not a good suggestion at all,
Download Kazaa and get Office without worrying about the licensing issue :D

Don't you just like the way some people think they have the right to either lecture others. It seems to be the flavour of the month round here

Real friendly

I think it could be that if Pupils could get the academic version, MS might as well just drop the retail price down toi that, as most computer buyers would have a family member still at school and everyone would be able to buy the academic version, not the full retail one.
You do not have to have a photo ID at school, but at Uni/Poly you do.

147691 2003-05-28 04:37:00 Partaking in illegal activities is not condoned around here, neptune. Really, if you're going to say something like that, at least do it privately. agent (30)
147692 2003-05-28 06:14:00 I am sure about the Office Student/Teacher version that you don't need a ID . But as with the rest, I am unsure .

Basically, my school gives us, and renews, our free (first only) and we are able to use that anywhere, even has a photo which is taken through a digicam and Dell laptop, which magically turns us, tanned-skined people into Black people *no means to be offensive* .

This year, I had the pleasure of getting 2, as something happened . . . . neither of the two was really right, neither was in the format my mates got . But it wasn't a major problem, just spaces and "-" and "/" for birthdate etc .

Have a go,
