A: from 95 to ME does not do that( not too sure about the NT based OS e.g. 2000 XP etc…), you will need a 3rd party program.

B: have a look under: Start \Programs\Accessories\System Tools
& There is two apps: "Resource Meter" & “System Monitor”

If there are not there have a look under Control Panel > Add/remove programs on the windows setup tab > System tools.

Hope this helps :)

147760 2003-05-29 23:17:00 Stu - I've had a good look thru your suggested locations - there is nothing about system resourses anywhere.

Does anyone else know where to find them on an HP 720a with ME ?

147761 2003-05-29 23:37:00 you will need to install it eg Control Panel > Add/remove programs on the windows setup tab >System tools.

however you may have one of those lovely cut down installs where is not adviable. sorry i can't remeber where in the cab files it hides.

147762 2003-05-30 01:49:00 Thanks - I'm pretty sure that it is a full install - so would the file be on the ME CD somewhere? Nomad1 (3546)
147763 2003-05-30 02:09:00 So it is not listed under: Control Panel > Add/remove programs on the windows setup tab >System tools.???? ( see screen shot (stuartw.orcon.net.nz))

Correct????

147764 2003-05-30 03:13:00 Stu - I had a really good look though there and am pretty sure that there was no reference to it.
Our IT people here at work gave me a suggestion that I might be able to access it thru the task bar - so will have a try tonight.
Will let you know - thanks for the tips - so far
