148040 2003-05-28 00:22:00 You should be saving power.. 10% and all, remember?

Just try it.. You know you want to.. And it'll be fun either way!

148045 2003-05-28 01:09:00 No problems sc0ut.

You are using about 2500 watts, which is approximately 11 amps.

Your power outlets will be breakered for 15-20 amps (modern buildings usually have circuit breakers instead of fuses) so you could probably load a two bar electric heater onto that circuit and still be allright.

I wouldn't recommend it though. :p

148046 2003-05-28 01:10:00 Roughly calculated your consumption (maximum) is about 13amps - each power point is rated at 10 - but that is a switch rating (being able to turn on an off 10 amps), the circuit should be fused at 20amps (that is the most common rating) - so you should be fine even if all pc's are grinding their guts out.
