| 148753 | 2003-05-31 02:30:00 | I wish to create a newsletter template with recurring items, objects and text unable to be altered. Our Club emails, faxes and posts our newsletter and we have a number of enthusiastic assistant "would be editors". "Would be" if the newsletter is easy to create, e-mail and fax. Some suggest this should be done in PDF format others in RTF format. Any help gratefully accepted as it will reduce my workload as Editor. Thanks Murray |

| 148754 | 2003-05-31 02:36:00 | Create your newsletter in Word. Add text form fields where you want the editable sections and then go to the Tools menu> Protect Document and check Protect For Forms. You can password the protection if you like. have a play around until you get the results you want. HTH Murray P |

| 148755 | 2003-06-01 23:41:00 | When I create a Template (say for a letter-head) I save it as: ".dot" (minus the "). Then to use the template and add text to it I save it as: ".doc" Perhaps a combination with the previous answer will help you. P. |
