| 148750 | 2003-05-31 03:13:00 | I have just installed a dse pci card 10/100Mbps WOL V2 network card into my computer running win 98se 750mhz amd athlon, 256mb ram. And now the computer takes about 1-1.5mins longer on the windows boot screen. Is there anyway I can get this to boot faster. The network card is working fine. The only use of the network card is to use a cross-over cable to transfer files between a laptop and the home computer (which is the one booting slowly). Would it boot faster if I went into device manager and disable the device when not in use? | Brad H (738) | ||
