148753 2003-05-31 02:30:00 I wish to create a newsletter template with recurring items, objects and text unable to be altered.
Our Club emails, faxes and posts our newsletter and we have a number of enthusiastic assistant "would be editors".
"Would be" if the newsletter is easy to create, e-mail and fax.
Some suggest this should be done in PDF format others in RTF format.
Any help gratefully accepted as it will reduce my workload as Editor.
Thanks
Murray

148754 2003-05-31 02:36:00 Create your newsletter in Word. Add text form fields where you want the editable sections and then go to the Tools menu> Protect Document and check Protect For Forms. You can password the protection if you like. have a play around until you get the results you want.

148755 2003-06-01 23:41:00 When I create a Template (say for a letter-head) I save it as: ".dot" (minus the ").

Then to use the template and add text to it I save it as: ".doc"

Perhaps a combination with the previous answer will help you.
