| 148642 | 2003-05-30 10:34:00 | I am running Win 98 which got mangled. I reloaded the OS then the colours when totally whacky like a 60's LSD trip. The windows boot screen was OK, and the initial desktop screen was OK for about a second. The colours then tripped out. I then installed a monitor calibration program. So now colours are OK until about 1 sec after the desktop appears. They trip out for about 1 sec until the monitor calibration program does its thing, then the colours are all OK. This is absolutely consistent every time. I think a default Win98 default colour profile file has been corrupted. Does anyone know if there is such a file and how I can repair the problem? |
