| 148483 | 2003-05-30 05:08:00 | Hi can you help. When on internet looking at street map on Christchurch city council site and click on a street the enlargement fails to appear. Error comes up do you wish to debug. Then it goes through other selections till it says "micro soft visual studio debugger". Then says "microsoft J script runtime error:"my Win" is null or not an object. Do I need a techo? Help!!!! |

| 148486 | 2003-05-30 08:15:00 | If your using IE 5.x or above and have Disable script debugging enabled then turn it off. Find your IE shortcut on your desktop, select it then right mouse click. Choose properties, select the advanced tab. In the listbox enable the Disable script debugging checkbox by clicking the box so that a tick appears. Choose OK. (You may want to clear out the items in the Temp Internet Folder too, but that's up to you.) Go back to the site and reload the page. Hopefully the problem won't appear again. |

| 148487 | 2003-05-30 08:44:00 | I have just checked out those maps and they load fine for me. Zooming in invokes a javascript to pop up an enlargement window and that could be where your problem is. Like the other poster said, have you ensured your Windows is fully up to date? | tommy (2826) | ||

But still get java script error when on christchurch city council site trying to get enlargement on areas on map. Does some body have a game plan or know a means to repair fault/ |

| 148489 | 2003-06-04 04:16:00 | You could try updating/refreshing your Visual Basic Runtime Files (VB) at MS windows update site Here (v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com) also have a look through your IE properties for ActiveX controls & plugins. Its not Flash is it? Not according to above post anyway. Cheers Murray P |
