| 148789 | 2003-05-31 06:34:00 | In Nov I purchased 2 x 60G Maxtor hard drives from Dick Smith and had both fail within a few weeks. Then the replacements failed as well so I returned them and had them replaced with a Western Digital drive which so far has worked perfectly. | 148791 | 2003-05-31 08:24:00 | Yes, I purchased a Maxtor 7200 HD at New Year, to have it fail early in February (bought it at Dick Smith's). So far the replacement is OK - but I am checking HD and backing up data fairly often! Cheers R.M. |
