| 148898 | 2003-06-02 06:14:00 | pc dvd drives as well .. well I guess it probably does, but you can't beat getting the full sound out of a stereo system, or dvd player surround sound system :) and of course with the right software - musicmatch , dartpro, you can dust off those old LP's... load em up as wav files, get rid of the clicks n clacks, transform them into mp3's and then onto a cd~ awesome! and again.. keeping them as mp3's - 700 megs.. or 700 minutes - even if you upp'd the quality and got 30 seconds per meg.. your still looking at 350 minutes of playing time per cd. and as for watching you don't step on any copyright toes~ I say what you do in the privacy of your own home is your biz ;) ~ besides.. the biggest cause of record industry drop in sales is more likely to be total lack of anything resembling quality coming out of the studios these days, Norah Jones possibly proved that... an excellent cd, in every way.. and went to the top of the charts in no time flat! gawwwd.. ok. shutMeUp, there are heaps of reasons for the drop in sales.. and not a big % of it is due to downloading. ... . but that's a whole other topic, let's just enjoy the music :) |
