| 1314387 | 2012-12-29 14:31:00 | There is wonderful beer, great beer, nice beer....but no such thing as bad beer :devil Ken I beg to differ, while staging through Sri Lanka a few years ago, en -route back to the UK from Hong Kong, I bought a pint of the local draught beer at the airport - one mouthful was sufficient, even though I felt thirsty and the temperature was in the low 40s - it was bloody putrid. The old Tiger Beer in Singapore in the 60s used to be bloody rough on the system, one would throw up long before enough had been consumed to get anywhere near drunk, we preferred to drink duty paid Carlsberg in the Mess to duty free Tiger.( the tiger Brewery used to be owned by Heinecken who should have known better than to purvey such crap- they also owned Leopard in NZ (which wasn't a bad drop) The best beer in Asia used to be San Miguel |

Never had a problem with tiger beer in Singers but preferred Anchor. |
