1314385 2012-12-29 02:54:00 Emersons London Porter, which I was about to open last night when I noticed the best before date of August 2012.
?
Best Before is not the same as Use By.
Should be fine.

1314386 2012-12-29 06:00:00 Pirate Beer. Tastes like 1 part Reineck, 1 part vodka. And only ends well. hueybot3000 (3646)

I beg to differ, while staging through Sri Lanka a few years ago, en -route back to the UK from Hong Kong, I bought a pint of the local draught beer at the airport - one mouthful was sufficient, even though I felt thirsty and the temperature was in the low 40s - it was bloody putrid.
The old Tiger Beer in Singapore in the 60s used to be bloody rough on the system, one would throw up long before enough had been consumed to get anywhere near drunk, we preferred to drink duty paid Carlsberg in the Mess to duty free Tiger.( the tiger Brewery used to be owned by Heinecken who should have known better than to purvey such crap- they also owned Leopard in NZ (which wasn't a bad drop)

The best beer in Asia used to be San Miguel

1314388 2012-12-29 18:52:00 I bought some Tiger beer from Liquorland in Invercargill. This beer is brewed under licence by DB Breweries according to the label. We used to drink Tiger and Anchor beers in Singapore.

I remember a beer called 3 coins in Ceylon about 25 years ago it was foul. Never had a problem with tiger beer in Singers but preferred Anchor.

I support the small companies not the big multi nationals that do nothing but add some minor flavour to tap water as for the PM what a fool

are busy making this place 'Poverty Rock', as we speak.
