1314366 2012-11-28 01:03:00 (There's a St Ambroise Russian Imperial Stout which is also amazing - Canadian, though.)

+1 tried this while I was in Canada... not a bad drop indeed.

1314367 2012-11-28 01:03:00 Awesome Bob and the best part is they come chilled all year round, no fridge needed....

We do get some warm sunny days down here so sometimes a fridge is needed.

1314368 2012-11-28 03:25:00 I'm extremely pleased that no one has mentioned the Nelson "Harleys" brew. I'm waiting for a survivor that has. Once tried, never forgotten. :) :) BobM (1138)

They are few & far between lately. All we are getting is wind & rain.
The weather is always brilliant as soon as everyone who came down for the Burt Munro goes home. There must still be a few Aussies lurking around & the city is trying to blow them out of town.

1314373 2012-11-29 01:24:00 Anchor Steam Beer

I remember drinking Anchor beer in Singapore and Malaysia in the early 1970s. More than likely not associated to Anchor Steam beer. From memory it was a chemically brewed beer.
