1314504 2012-11-24 18:32:00 Thanks, so when you say longer, how long is that exactly? 2hr, 5hr?

What's the best way to water different sections of the garden?

Minimum 2 hours. But remember the hose is on low.....
You mean they terraced it.

Water different parts on different days, or all on the same day if time allows, up to you how you do it.

And check first. We watered yesterday some parts, husband thought the strawberry garden was dry, but I dug down and no it wasn't, only the top inch. As strawberries hate being wet, I did not water that yesterday.

1314505 2012-11-24 20:32:00 Is 2hr okay? Each area patch is like 1m x 0.75m. Nomad (952)
1314506 2012-11-24 20:50:00 You have got to use a bit of your own judgement Nomad. If it looks like a flood after 5 mins do you leave it for another 1hr 55 mins.
:)

If it looks like a flood after 5 minutes, the hose is on too high. Mimic rain....gentle, steady and long.

1314508 2012-11-26 04:33:00 The $10 sprinkler doesn't work that well for the area we have. The misting works better with the hose. It's been 2 days, I checked one area, it's not that moist. Still a darkish colour. The top soil is that light brown colour. Nomad (952)
