1314063 2012-11-25 20:42:00 really?
No, not in the slightest, apparently my sarcasm is about as useful as his post.

Greven,
If you like one of the songs by Skrillex, why not check out some of his other stuff on the Bangarang album? He's won awards for Bangarang as well as Equinox (First of the year), the video for that is *cool* and this will certainly give you some appreciation for the heart behind the music: en.wikipedia.org(Equinox)

We know, but don't care. The poster was asking for help finding some other songs that they may like. I fail to see how your post helped, or needed to be posted at all?

The title says "Any dubstep fan's here?", in which I posted a counter-statement saying that I was not a fan.

1314067 2012-11-25 23:40:00 Well I'm just *so* glad you read the original post then before responding. Chilling_Silence (9)
1314068 2012-11-26 01:57:00 I personally don't really like dubstep that much at all. The few songs that I really like are generally dubstep being appropriately mixed into other genres e.g. Too Close by Alex Clare (www.youtube.com) (yes that is the song from the IE ads sadly). For some reason I like the Skrillex/Nero remix of Nero's Promises (www.youtube.com). I had high hopes for Knife Party personally, (Pendulum is the shiz, mad respect for largely using real instruments) but after hearing Centipede I think I gave up on them.

And for the people who want to hate dubstep for the rest of their lives I suggest you listen to this (www.youtube.com)

1314069 2012-11-26 02:07:00 Yeah speaking of real instruments, I quite liked what Lindsey Stirling did with Crystallize, it's not the most hardcore dubstep you'd hear but something about the violin I found strangely enticing: www.youtube.com

I started following her after she did the Skyrim video, it's fantastic :D

Anyway I quote enjoy some salmonella dub, if that is what you class as dubstep. To be honest I wouldn't know what genre to put them in.
It would seem I far off to what dubstep is.....

I listened to a lot of Skrillex on youtube & found a few new songs I like, but mostly I was unimpressed. Equinox is a cool song, and Too Close (as mentioned by another poster) is a decent song.

I thought you might have been replying to the suggestion of listening to a dialup modem rather than replying to the thread title (because there clearly are some dubstep fans here), but it wasn't clear so I asked for clarification. Thank you for clearing that up.
