Reason: Photo I posted was copyrighted . lol Its quite funny how in 1996 I got through 8 rolls of 36 exposure film in one day when Ruapehu erupted and those photos earned me a couple of thousand and the photos are still pretty much not on the internet, yet now day everyone has a camera of sorts and the images are literally around the world in seconds . Whats bugging me is listening to Brent Guy on TVNZ a few minutes ago is how the iwi get a say in how safe it is up there and have to be consulted on decisions of what to do next . The other thing was the decison of a 3 day decision process on what part of the track to keep open! Very little sense in the fact you can drive underneath the crater within 2kms yet they have closed the tracks and road that dont come any closer than that on the other side . Yet a few years ago when Ruapehu burped the ski are was open and operating with lava bombs inside the ski area boundary and a couple hundred metres of operating lifts . Fair enough they did close the day after the explosion mainly because most the safety staff where tired from the overnight rescue of the two idiots who where in the dome shelter .	coldfront (15814)
