1338823 2013-04-29 06:32:00 So my laptop's now complaining that the battery's dead and dying, and what used to last a bus ride home from town now only lasts maybe 15-20 minutes before needing to be plugged in.

Since I don't have a couple grand for a new one, and since I've only got a short while left at university, but still need it to run away from a power point sometimes, I think a new battery is in order.

So, where would one go to get a replacement? My laptop is a Gateway NV59 (18a), the battery's a 10.8V 6 cell, and the actual part number is AS09A61. If I could find one, I'd like to get a 12 cell.
Oh and I hear the local official supplier is Dove. Last time I called them they said a new battery would be $180 for a 6 cell. Plus I don't have a Dove account.

Looking online it seems there's places to get them, but I've no idea if they're trustworthy or not.

Any suggestions?

Also, edit: would it be ok to use a 11.1V cell instead of a 10.8V cell? Last time I asked the general consensus was 'yes' but I just wanted to check.

Any idea of their reputation though?

edit - seems that's might be the guy from last time. Site looks alot better this time if it is him.
I'll stick it at the top of my list in any case.
