1338387 2013-04-25 10:42:00 I've just installed PCwizard to check the temps on this netbook. And it shows 51 for the CPU 60 for the videocard. And 59 for ACPI. Are these temps too high? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1338388 2013-04-25 11:55:00 That's nothing ; my AMD HP laptop runs around 80-90 for the CPU.

1338390 2013-04-25 12:26:00 Pfft, I had an HP tablet PC that would get to 120 when displaying the desktop :p pcuser42 (130)
1338391 2013-04-25 12:44:00 You probably should have disabled the portable stove function. Slankydudl (16687)

You certainly don't need a heater in winter to warm up your room! :D

Problem is the tablet shut itself off 5 minutes after booting and needed a desk fan to actually work :p

1338394 2013-04-25 23:01:00 Yep, my Eee PC netbook is fanless and gets so hot you can hardly put your hand underneath it, a few times over summer it shut itself down because it got to hot. I dont think I would worry to much about those temps Speedy. Iantech (16386)
1338395 2013-04-25 23:12:00 Yes they are on the high side. But for netbooks with minimal cooling you're not going to get much better. Agent_24 (57)
1338396 2013-04-25 23:48:00 Sweet ok I wont worry about it. Pity I'll have to leave defender on it. With MSE it takes twice as long to boot into windows. I'll have to wait till a new update comes out. To see if its any better Speedy Gonzales (78)
