| 149136 | 2003-06-02 01:23:00 | Yes you can recover data from . chk files, but you would only bother to try if you thought you had lost important data . You open them in a text editor and look for any words you recognise . If you find something you want, save it with a name you will recognise to a folder set up for the purpose (e . g . "recovered files") then open with your WP . I would check only those that are of a reasonable size as small fragments are not a lot of use to you . I recovered 90% of a lost report from chk files and it was enough for me to rewrite it with minimal effort . Cheers Billy 8-{) |
