149385 2003-06-03 03:46:00 After just reading Geoff Palmer's article in the latest June PC World magazine, it talks about a virus that freezes your computer when your on kazaa.

Well damn he hit the nail on the head there! I've had about 3 freezes in 12hours and had to hard boot my computer each time. Kazaa was running each time, and I can't think of anything else that might be causing a lockup.

I've tried to install 'kazaaprotector' which is on the cd, but that doesn't even install properly? Its stuffed? If you want to download from the official site, you have to pay :\ Will this program fix the freeze thing? Or do I need something else?

BOT (back on topic): I have Norton Antivirus 2003 and its all updated. Maybe I'll do a scan right now, but I doubt it will turn up anything.

I think this virus doesn't even need to be on your PC?? They can just freeze your comp without putting anything on it?? I don't know.
