| 149192 | 2003-06-02 03:31:00 | None. Kenobi, Vincular, Viper and others too numerous to mention run using the IRC backdoor to connect to msn's chat system. They use a 'patched' ocx, which msn recently upgraded to limit the usefulness of such scripts. As such, your use of these scripts allows others to access your pc through chat. Not nice. msn web based chat masks your IP, using IRC in these rooms doesn't. People using scripts in msn chat rooms generally do so in order to spam the chatters (generally porn whispers), or disrupt the room in some way to show how 'good' they are. It soon gets tiring and those who frequent the rooms know to click on the 'ignore' button so the childish attention seeking antics of a select few are not seen. If you are still determined, you will find a lot of information on the web, mostly outdated, and put there by teens with a overwhelming feeling of self-importance, that may be what you are looking for. | 149199 | 2003-06-03 03:56:00 | lmfao You guys dont no wat ur goin on about, I use MSN Chat Scripts every single day in computing rooms for starters there are no backdoors which u use to connect to msn with and using a script is perfectly safe noone can hack you or anything, now that msn updated there chat control halting some ctcp replys in which ip crackers used to get webchat user ips dont work so you are even safer. As for choosing an easy script i would recommend chciking some out on http://www.techgear007.net for some ofthe latest scripts, If your still not happy with them..try making your own script starting wif mIRC and a connection such as Vincula Neo 4.7.1 by eXonyte and them making addons such as away systems. Il be glad to give you some extra help on it as well im usually in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
