149611 2003-06-04 02:33:00 Are there any programs that can change the play back of mp3's so that if i was to rip the mp3 to an audo cd the playback would be slightly faster? yingxuan (3330)

I'm not too sure what you mean there...
MP3's are Encoded at a certain BitRate. The BitRate determines the quality of the MP3, in relation to the size of it.. the better quality, the bigger the size.

When you 'rip', you take a regular Audio CD, and 'extract' the data from it, then 'encode' it as an MP3 to save space on your HDD as opposed to an uncompressed file.

Playback, how fast the song is played, be it 1x, 1.25x etc...

I think you're meaning you wanna speed it up, so I'll put you onto http://www.goldwave.com
Download Goldwave, you can then use it to adjust the speed, bitrate, and a myriad of other things using this software :-)

Hope this helps

149615 2003-06-04 03:24:00 Great, then GoldWave is just what you're after!

It can rip the audio, change the speed of the Music, save it.. Then its up to your CD-Burning App to re-burn it :-)

Let us know if you run into problems

Cheers
