149494 2003-06-03 10:32:00 I have found that on a certain web page that I wish to view, instead of picture links I get a white squares with a red crosses on them. This only happens on one web page I regularly access and have I think got settings set to view pictures. Right clicking on these "objects" reveals nothing. bear (3937)

149498 2003-06-03 10:47:00 Check the information from MS here (support.microsoft.com) Jim B (153)
149499 2003-06-03 10:52:00 That page works fine for me, using win ME & IE 5.5 SP2. stu140103 (137)
149500 2003-06-03 11:07:00 Works fine for me too.
The links to all the different sports are done with a Java Applet so you need Java VM installed for them to display.

ummm, do not know :(
Unless you want to upgrade your OS to Win 98SE or Win ME.

Good luck.

149503 2003-06-10 10:09:00 Sun java dosn't support win95 but it will work...tho a decent amount of ram will help a lot.

however you will most likly have MS java installed. it may be damaged so try a repair IE or upgrade it (5.5sp2 is the highest you can go).

the other thing that can cause this is a internet temp file that is set way to large. delete your internet cache and set it to around 20-40meg (10-20 for slower pc's). might be a good time to clean out the index.dat files (see the FAQ)
