It was a 7 tonne truck load. 1 IBM system/34, dual disk and cabinet extensions. Price $51 But that was a few years ago. Only have the empty cabinets now, as shed cupboards. |

| 149688 | 2003-06-05 09:20:00 | In 1964 I used to work with Hollerith punch cards with Ferranti in Edinburgh - 'my memory' now will not remember what 'their memory' was capable of back then though ! Seemed magical at the time. Programming consisted of many small cables crossing over each other in quite a logical sequence - set into sockets set out in a peg like board (seems like several lifetimes ago). :D |
