| 150142 | 2003-06-05 22:44:00 | Hi boys and girls, TonesMalones is back online! (after a stint of a few weeks offline)... Ive had to reduce my internet plan, and I was wondering if there is a programme that someone can recommend that will count the amount of hours i've spent online, as well as accumulate it at the end of 28 days. You can check your usage through the Paradise website, but its hard to remember a new password! Cheers all, dodge the raindrops if your in Auckers TonesMalones (who is so overjoyed to be back online) |

| 150143 | 2003-06-05 23:55:00 | Welcome back Tones, A small question, what type of internet connection are you on? There's a lot of software that can monitor usuage online and accumulate it over a period of time, problem is, they may or may not be accurate but near enough, your ISP is the only one who thinks they are accurate in how long you've been on. |

| 150145 | 2003-06-06 00:21:00 | Try Logtime from www.thefreecountry.com It works fine for me and is fairly accurate. |

| 150146 | 2003-06-06 00:28:00 | I recalled one (or, as it turns out, more than one) reviewed by Paul Brislen in "Computerworld" I emailed him, and he came back speedily with a few names (the DU Meter - or "Duh! meter" was the one I remembered), and then with the article reference: www.idg.net.nz/webhome.nsf/nl/157D362EF8914D6CCC256C1D000B8692 They seem more oriented to measuring data volume than time, but some may do both. Hope one of these meets you needs, Tones - and welcome back. Argus |
