| 150116 | 2003-06-05 14:59:00 | Hii When i get home i turn on my PC and logon to Windows XP. I usually do the following. Dial out to the internet. Open about 5 websites in IE in diff windows. Open OE and check E-mail. Is there any way i can automate these tasks? Like run a script or something, so all i need to do is logon and go get changed and come back with a cup of coffee??...and its all done by the time i get my bum on the chair! :D Any info will be great! | 150117 | 2003-06-05 15:08:00 | Opening Outlook Express should Auto-Dialup for you, so try just putting a shortcut to that in the C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder and see if that dials up. You'll need the pwd and user saved, with it set to auto-dial, not ask for confirmation. For the websites, make bookmarks/links to them as well, and pop them in the same startup folder :-) Post back with the results Cheers Chill. |
