| 150069 | 2003-06-05 12:20:00 | Hi, how do i backup outlook express 5 mail folders? I want to reinstall windows but don't want to lose my mail & address book. How do i back them up? Any help would be greatly appreciated kyo |

| 150072 | 2003-06-05 19:50:00 | The various mail folders from Outlook Express are stored as *.dbx files, a search with the Start>Search function will show you where they are. Back them up for a start. Open your address book in Outlook Express, Go File > Export > Address Book(WAB) and follow the prompts and save to a floppy disk. Make a second back up as a precaution by copy and paste all the addresses in the address book and paste them to a folder on the floppy. If one fails at least you still have the other. |
