| 150003 | 2003-06-05 10:50:00 | You don't have to point it anywhere I don't think. I'd go with Discout Domains (http://www.discountdomains.co.nz) they rock when it comes to .nz domains. They don't give you email accounts though unless you pay for them. You can redirect the domain to an orcon account as well. If you're wanting some free email boxes until you get your hosting grab the domain with discount domains and transfer over to Register Direct (http://www.registerdirect.co.nz). |

| 150004 | 2003-06-05 10:58:00 | i do know of a free DNS server in USA that will let you have DNS and the you can set you MX info to have your email redirect to any place in the net. cant remember the name right now but I will as a friend who uses it. |

| 150005 | 2003-06-05 11:10:00 | if the load is low, and you've got a 128k (256k + preferably) connection, you could probably run one on your own computer/a dedicated webserver box... you dont need much power at all.. just enough to run apache. Then you simply use a dynamic-dns server like no-ip.com or dyndns and youre away laughing... |
