| 149913 | 2003-06-05 02:55:00 | Search for folder or files just brings up an empty "search companion" window. Windows update gives me a blank page. Clicking on javascript links does nothing. If I try to configure IIS or SMTP service it hangs. I tried reinstalling XP SP1, no luck. I can't install IE6 SP1, setup detects a newer version. What is it looking at to tell if it's a newer version? It's nothing in the registry in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer, because I deleted the whole tree before trying to install. Any ideas? |
