| 149962 | 2003-06-05 07:58:00 | I am wanting to Organise my Palm Memo Pad v.4.0 by date. is this possible? I have entered the date first before the notes, and want to keep it in date order. Any suggestions would be great or any software that will achieve this? Thanks Donald M |

| 149963 | 2003-06-05 08:11:00 | In my version (3.5) simply select Sort By - Alphabetic. If you then start the memo as 030606 (for today) and 030607 (for tomorrow) etc, they will by default arrange in the correct sequence. You will not get a correct sort by using a standard date format, you need an ascending alpha order string as above. The default Sort order is Manual (drag to the order you want) To set the Sort Order tap the "Memo" tab at the top of the screen in Memo mode, and select options - preferences. |

| 149964 | 2003-06-05 08:25:00 | Thanks for that God father. I hadnt thought of using the date as you suggested. I tried draging but it wouldnt work, tried it on both Palm and desktop, any ideas what Im doing wrong? Thanks again Donald M |

| 149965 | 2003-06-05 08:33:00 | I have not tried the desktop, as I no longer use the palm as I migrated to a PocketPC I suspect that if the default is already Alphabetic, you should not be able to drag. Yes, just tested, and you can only drag on the Palm (Vx) if its set on Manual. |
