| 150621 | 2003-06-07 09:57:00 | If using WinXP you can use remote services. I have tried GotoMyPC and it also works as does PC Anywhere. I have used all the above. Of the three PC Anywhere was the best for what *I* was doing. It was easy to setup and was fairly secure. It was the best answer for me to leave the PC on at work and also work from home. What are you trying to do and what O/S are you using? YMMV. |

| 150622 | 2003-06-07 10:14:00 | I personally use a combo of Remote Administrator from radmin.com, and RealVNC from realvnc.com Also, I have a no-ip.com domain which means I usually just have to load up RealVNC from any PC around the world while my PC @ home is online, type in: Mynoipaccount.no-ip.com hit connect and I have complete control, with Radmin I can do File Transfers etc too! Look into it... |

| 150626 | 2003-06-07 11:18:00 | You can use PC Anywhere on different operating systems. I had WinXP at home and Win98SE at work. Both places were running OfficeXP as the application. Mostly I was just uploading Excel spreadeets to work and updating docs there as well. The operating system at work was also accessible from home but I usually didn't need to do that. Like using a network as it were. |
