150684 2003-06-07 17:15:00 My sony dej985 cd player supports cd text information meaning that while the cd is playing it can read the name of the track or artist. The problem is how do i add tracknames etc onto a cdr?I know how to copy audio onto a cd but adding tracknames??
IS my cd writer support cd-text information ??

150685 2003-06-07 20:54:00 It'll be your burner program that needs to support CD text - something like Nero supports it (and I think if you're writing MP3s as CD audio Nero usually includes the CD text - I know it does with mine).

150686 2003-06-07 20:54:00 I forgot to add - the CD text is taken from the ID tags in MP3s when Nero writes them to CD.

150687 2003-06-08 00:49:00 So err.If i name the file mp3 it would automatically copy the text?
What are other programs that has this function either than nero?Nero runs too slow on my computer.Adaptec cd creator doesn't do the job but works fine!

150688 2003-06-08 01:10:00 The burner and the program, would have to support CD Text. Not just the program. If the burner doesnt support it, then it wont work, even tho the program may have the option. Spacemannz (808)

150691 2003-06-09 05:51:00 Try the Sony site. The people who made the burner. It should tell u there, whether it supports CD TEXT or not Spacemannz (808)
150692 2003-06-09 05:54:00 If you have Nero, Infotool (part of Nero) will tell you what a burner supports). I've just checked this burner and DVD, with it.

Both support CD TEXT
