151152 2003-06-09 02:24:00 A mate has a problem with a virus's in his computer (pccompany 2 months old). Downloaded & installed AVG. This showed 2 virus's and cleaned them out. Now the problem. Every time the computer is turned on is shows the above Virus in C:system Volume/info/-restore etc, etc .exe. On testing AVG says no virus found.

He cannot find this folder in his computer. Could it be in the registry?

Anyone know what is going on.

no idea why AVG cant find it even after updates.

151155 2003-06-09 03:03:00 The Virus is in the system restore files which are unable to be accessed to allow its removal.

Simply disable system restore, reboot the computer and enable system restore. That should purge all the system restore files.

It just deletes all the system restore points
