| 151051 | 2003-06-08 14:31:00 | Hi guys. I have a friend who has the following hardware: Duron 1Ghz 640 DDR ram 60G HDD Gf4 mx 420 (on agp port) Gagabyte MB+onboard sound Vodoo 2 (on pci port) Running WIN XP PRO. I notice that he connects the Gf4 to the vodoo 2 via cable, then use the vodoo 2 as a output to the monitor. My question is, would the vodoo 2 actually slow down performance? or can the vodoo 2 still get better/faster performance with the Gf4?(Since vodoo 2 is using pci slot and Gf4 is much newer and and assume its faster). Vodoo 2 is anicent now. Thanks :) |

| 151053 | 2003-06-08 23:21:00 | the voodoo2 will be slowing it down. even in sli mode i would suspect the gf4mx would be faster. | tweak'e (174) | ||
