151351 2003-06-10 06:14:00 Just had to contribute my favourite ASP (and other languages, too) site: http://www.codehound.com agent (30)
151352 2003-06-10 06:22:00 It would seem you do have to be a customer, so I'd better not spill the details...

;)

Yes, anyone can host a site on 2day.com - they're pretty good too, I've had my site there for about 8 months, and the only problem I've had was being unable to get onto livestats for a period of about 4 hours.

Not a biggie really...

Quite cheap too, and if you've got a small site, but with ASP, they are the only people who can do it without charging you for 30MB...

I've managed (with MUCH labour and reprogramming) managed to bring my formerly 7MB site down to 2MB, without changing ANY of the appearance of it. That saved me a few hundred $ a year!

2day have a 2MB ASP/ASP.NET hosting plan for $15/mo Excl., which is the best I've come across...

I've put customers on 30MB plans and such like also, which are equally competitive and reliable.

:)

151353 2003-06-10 08:15:00 You saved hundreds per year by reducing it that amount. Good work. There are cheaper places for hosting though, especially if you're willing to have it on US servers. -=JM=- (16)
151354 2003-06-10 08:22:00 What's the URL for your site Erin (if its not private)?

151355 2003-06-10 10:01:00 Hi Mike,

It's www.unleash.co.nz - but if you can hold your horses until the weekend it's going to be a whole lot nicer. The very rough looking graphic design is all about to change, and there is some fancy new ASP stuff coming in too!

Anyway, take a squiz, and go back again in a week...

;)

151357 2003-06-10 11:43:00 Hold that thought - have put the site online now, but without the custom-build Laptop page (which I am working on now... 1200 lines and counting... Hrrmm...)

Anyway, take a gander, and leave me a message (there might be some typos ;) )

:)

Did you get this problem resolved in the end?
