| 151392 | 2003-06-10 23:38:00 | Some desktops as in some models of Compaq have a push-in clip either side of the ROM drive towards the front, push these in and it should pull straight out. Others can have a hinged cradle (Some Compaq) and (hinged at front of case) allowing access to screws. |

| 151395 | 2003-06-12 03:48:00 | Looks like I've spoken a little bit to fast. It was working fine until I installed nero. (not sure if that caused the problem) Now it works like a cdr rather than cdrw. When I put a cdrw in it it gives us a dialogue box saying "D:\ is not accessible, Incorrect function" & if I right click an icon on desktop/send to: cdrw does not appear in the side box. | gerrypics (323) | ||
| 151396 | 2003-06-12 03:55:00 | What windows are you running? If Win 95/98/ME then start in safe mode and check in device manager for multiple entries for CD drive. If unsure, it is safe to delete all CD devices shown and restart windows. Windows will then find the correct drivers for it. | Pheonix (280) | ||
