151371 2003-06-10 09:45:00 Hi Poppa John (and Maryann)

I haven't followed your previous thread on networking, I must have missed it. However, if you are networking between W98 and W2K or XP, have you tried installing Netbui alongside TCP/IP? It can make networking across those OS types much easier.

You must be doing something a little awkward to still be having problems with the full weight of the PF1 experts behind you!

Cheers

151372 2003-06-10 10:10:00 Hi Billy T. We are just gluing our hair back on after various efforts to follow through on the advice given on networking.
We eventually managed to follow Susan B's suggestion re running Network Wizard, then disk etc etc.
We just need to learn how to "work" it properly...getting photos from Kodak file and music...etc. Wonderful.
The problem for us was that we could get so far, and then the screen or words..."click ?? whatever" , weren't there and we didn't understand .
Shame. :8} :8}
I now have some beautiful Mussorgsky music playing, from P.J's Music.
Magic!!
Need to take a computer course, to learn the really basic things.
THANKYOU to everyone for their patience. :^O :p
