151706 2003-06-11 00:26:00 I have an XP Pro notebook, how do I go about setting it up to logon/access multiple Domains and Workgroups, without having to un-register and re-register with the new one? sk8e8 (3994)
151707 2003-06-11 01:32:00 I had the same problems with Win2K..
In the end, I decided to Dual-Boot, it solved the problem.
Otherwise, Im un-sure sorry :(

Can you set up multiple users giving each one a different domain to log on to?

Nope, sorry... which is why I dual-booted.. One OS for Work (Domain).. the other OS for Home Network (Worgroup) :-)

151710 2003-06-11 02:40:00 That is weird, because you can go to some networks (eg polytechs) where they have a dropdown list of different domains you can log onto. You (hopefully) should be able to do the same with domains and workgroups. What is the process for purely different domains? sk8e8 (3994)
151711 2003-06-11 03:33:00 Not possible unless trusts have been configured between the domains - and that depends on the operating systems used and the operating system attempting to access the domain(s).

There are third party possibilities depending on what is required - access to parent/child domains / workgroups or standalone domains/workgroups.

Also, access into a domain is security dependent - something most quality administrators are reluctant to approve without just cause.
