X-(Butterpuff.comX-( goes on and offine all the time rendering the code at the bottom of my page useless. Anyone know a reliable FREE one? Much appreciated.;-) |

I think GoStats (http://gostats.com/) will do what you want. That was the first find in google anyways. Have you heard of google?:| I found that site within 5 secs on 56k:-| If you are actually hosting your own server (god forbid) it has its own hit counters. That is if you are using the minimum server requirements - but then again, I doubt you are using your own server. |

Just be cautious of where you put your Webpage counter thing, as some people have a bad habit of sticking them right in the middle of no-where and it just detracts value from the website. | 151603 | 2003-06-11 01:43:00 | The one I use for my website is called: Site Meter (http://www.sitemeter.com) they are free & they are very very good!!, & I have not had any problems with them. The only thing is if your site does not get any hits for a long time your account gets removed. Hope this helps |

| 151605 | 2003-06-11 03:30:00 | Sorry stu but...... I made up a specific_adress_for_bravenet_use_ONLY@one-ofmy-domains.net.nz and received enough spam to force the blocking of that address, very little of it was from bravenet itself. What other conclusion could i make after observing that???? .Chris |
