151571 2003-06-10 10:34:00 Just wondering if anyone else has seen worm_sobig.c doing the rounds.. i've been asked to fix 3 machines this week, yet i have not heard of anyone else seeing it!

yeath, I think it is a new one, also I think it is the one I help beetle remove.

Also I think there has been a thread about it on here.

151574 2003-06-10 10:47:00 I received this worm on the 2nd of June, but NAV detected it as it downloaded from the mail server and dealt to it.

It was discovered on the 31st of May 2003 according to Symantec.

151575 2003-06-10 11:04:00 Got it the other day from a mailing list. Person thought they were a geek as well. They can't have been if their system forwarded it on. -=JM=- (16)
151576 2003-06-10 20:14:00 One thing that none of the AV pages seem to mention is that machines effected by this worm forget how to communicate with other windows machines.

151578 2003-06-12 02:51:00 I got it from my paradise email account every day.Sometimes 3 emails a day.But i use mailwasher and bounced it bak to them hehe.!!
since after the 7th of june.never seen that virus since.Norton website did meantion the virus deactivates on the 8th of june!
