| 151821 | 2003-06-11 09:16:00 | What does ISO mean in conjunction with software versions ?? | wheatsack (4001) | ||
| 151822 | 2003-06-11 09:36:00 | ISO is a standards organisation. So it depends on the context. It can refer to an image of the contents of a CD, because they use the ISO9660 filesystem. |

| 151823 | 2003-06-11 10:02:00 | If its xxxxx.ISO its an image file. Some software is distributed as ISO files. As above ISO is a standards org and most cd burning or backup softaware for eg, use ISO 9660 as the standard for image files like disc images hence the name. HTH Murray P |

| 151824 | 2003-06-11 10:49:00 | Let me guess... you've downloaded an ISO file of a program from (insert your personal favourite P2P app here) wherever and are left with a large-ish ISO file? Lo. |
