| 151859 | 2003-06-11 10:44:00 | ok today i did some up dates, and now every time i dial up to connect with speakers on they beep and screech ....something awful. i have never had a dial up sound when connecting ever before and now this sound is terrible hurts the ears, the first time i thought maybe a one off thing but its done it again tonite and i had turned speakerss up a bit since this afternoon wanting to listen something else, so you can imagine my surprise when it did it again only louder. what may have caused this? apart from updates i have not added anything or changed any thing either settings / programs wise. from having no noise on conection to this horrible screech i no what i prefer. what has been ticked / unticked in the change / updates? beetle |

Click on the internet icons in your tasktray to bring up your ISP's connection box, click on Properties then Configure then remove the tick from "Enable modem speaker" if there is a tick there. | tommy (2826) | ||
