151778 2003-06-11 06:24:00 During the custom bootloader install I was given the option to Force LBA32, I use to always choose this option as I had no idea what it did :P but one time I decided not to do it and now I have problems using NT's Bootloader to boot RH, I'm not sure if it's related to force lba32 but it's the only thing different I've done from prior installations on the same machine. So is there a way to turn it on maybe edit lilo.conf to have a line in it to do it or is there more to it than I suspect? Kame (312)
151779 2003-06-11 11:56:00 Yes if you run Lilo config within KDE you can force LBA there. I am sorry but at the moment I am in Win not Linux otherwise I would give you the exact copy. LBA stands for Large Block Address and most new hard drives support this (If not all). mikebartnz (21)
