| 151729 | 2003-06-11 03:44:00 | How can i pinpoint the download file of internet explorer 6 service pack 1 to a folder where later after it finishes downloading for like 1 hour i can easily copy to a cdr disc? normally you download a file. Then using the downloaded file you have to download the main files which it doesn't let u change the destination? How do u change it? |

| 151730 | 2003-06-11 03:59:00 | yingxuan, Assuming you don't have a copy of IE 6 sp1 from a NZ PCWorld cover disk or similar (available from your local book store)... then 1. Create a folder (e.g. "C:\IESETUP\") 2. Download the installer (from Microsoft site) to the folder created in Step 1 3. Goto START | RUN and open a command prompt 4. Type the following command (assuming the folder in Step 1): "C:\IESETUP\IE6SETUP.EXE" /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E" (include all of the quotes shown above) 5. Select the relevant Operating System(s) for your environment 6. Choose the same folder you selected in Step 1 This will put all the IE installation files in the folder you created in step 1 Babe. |

| 151731 | 2003-06-11 07:54:00 | yingxuan, Are you running Windows XP with SP1 installed? If so then IE6 SP is already installed - it installs as part of XP SP1. Mike. |
